MP-412 Rex is a Russian-made revolver chambered for .357 Smith & Wesson Magnum (9 × 33 mm) and .38 Smith & Wesson Special (9.1 × 29 mm). Designed at the Izhevsk Mechanical Plant in the late 1990s. Designed for export (REX - Revolver for Export), but did not go into mass production.
